Implement CSRS 4200 queries

New queries have been added to the English PBC Templates, in accordance with the CSRS 4200 standards. To implement the new CSRS 4200 queries, select the following responses in the Optimiser document:

  1. Respond Yes to the Would you like to use the new CSRS 4200 standards? question.

  2. Select Knowledge of the Entity for the Which compilation accounting records and documents would you like to request from the client? question.

The new queries are listed in the Compilation documents and records query under the Knowledge of the Entity question set.

General formatting enhancements

A comprehensive review of PBC Requests has been performed in this release. Minor formatting updates have been made to phase names, folder names and guidance information for consistency purposes.

Simple Electronic Signature in queries

To support scenarios where clients are required to sign documents or accept certain terms during the engagement, a new response type Simple Electronic Signature is now available in queries.

Let op: You can also use Simple Electronic Signature in query documents from Working Papers engagements. To learn more, see What’s New in Working Papers 2021: Update 1.

Simple Electronic Signature provides a paperless, secure and more efficient method for signing documents. Once you send the query to clients, they can sign the document or agree to terms with a single tap or button click.

Zodra de klant het document accepteert wordt een handtekeningenlogboek aangemaakt. Deze is dan direct beschikbaar om te downloaden. In het logboek staat de volgende informatie:

  • Details over de vraag;

  • Naam en e-mail van de ondertekenaar;

  • Locatie van de ondertekenaar (als de toegang tot de locatie aanstond bij het ondertekenen);

  • IP-adres van de ondertekenaar;

  • Datum van ondertekening;

  • Naam van het document;

  • MD5-hash van het document.

PBC Requests now supports french translation of the engagement phases and default folders. When you set the Content language to French in the Engagement Properties popup, the phases and folder names are automatically translated to French.
