Transition guide—OnPoint Audit 2025 template
Content in this topic requires OnPoint Audit.
With the Summer 2025 release, OnPoint Audit introduces a new template designed to align with Caseware’s broader platform standards. This guide will help you decide when and how to transition, understand what’s changed, and ensure a smooth experience for your team.
Your transition options
You now have two template versions to choose from when creating or carrying forward an engagement:
| Template version | Description | Keeps customizations? |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 (Fall) | Legacy template with your existing financial statement setup | |
| 2025 (Summer) | New template with updated industry content and platform alignment | |
Why adopt the 2025 template?
The 2025 template introduces:
-
Expanded industry-specific content
-
A standardized structure across Caseware platforms (Taxflow, DocuFlex, OnPoint PCR)
-
Updated workflows and improved integration
All future content updates and enhancements will be available only in the 2025 template.
Warning: Customizations made to the Balance Sheet, Income Statement or Statement of Activities in your current 7-600 Financial Statements will not carry over to the 2025 template. Document any critical changes before proceeding with 2025.
Before you transition to the 2025 template
Ask yourself:
-
Do you need the new industry-specific content?
-
Are you ready to reapply your financial statement customizations?
If not, you may delay the transition and continue using the 2024 template.
