Notebooks
Notebooks are interactive documents that contain live code together with markdown text. Using Notebooks, you can build and explore custom analysis, and display the results. Each notebook consists of a series of cells. Run each cell individually in sequence to view its output or run the entire notebook.
Notebook files have the .ipynb file name extension and can be explored, modified and run in JupyterLab, an open-source notebook editor. The Data Analytics team has re-engineered out-of-the box Analytics AI tests to work with a new Notebooks engine. You can access these from the AnalyticsAI platform.

Data import
Transaction file import
This release has added a new processing step to enable file validation during tagging.
Entry number error message
Now, when mapping a column in a transactions file to ENTRY NUMBER, LINE NUMBER or ENTRY ID, an error displays if any blank cells are detected.
Click on the warning to show the blank cells and their line numbers. With this information, you can correct the file using a tool of your choice, or contact your client with this information and ask for a corrected transactions file.
An error also displays if there are blank rows.
You will not be able to import files with errors -- the Import button on the Import Transactions page will be inactive.
Amount error message
When mapping a column in a transactions file to AMOUNT, an error displays if any non-numeric properties are present.
Click on the warning to view the affected data.
You will not be able to import files with errors -- the Import button on the Import Transactions page will be inactive.
Unassigned value warnings
When mapping a column in a transactions file to DOCUMENT TYPE, POSTING STATUS, IDENTIFIER TYPE or ORIGINATING DOCUMENT TYPE, a warning displays if there are any unassigned values. For example,
Duplicate entries
If duplicate transactions are detected in CSV files, either in the same file, or a subsequent file in an engagement, the duplicate transactions will be ignored on import.
Attempting to import duplicate transactions will no longer corrupt the transactions database. Additionally, if an import fails, users will be able to upload and import another file. Prior to this release this action would also result in a corrupted datbase.
Hinweis: Transaction duplicates are based on the entry number property, not the entire transaction.

In the following example, the engagement properties show a fiscal period of January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017.
Because this engagement has data from more than just 2017, the following option appears on the Configuration page. Select the checkbox if you wish to run analyses on data solely from the period of the engagement.

See AnalyticsAI configuration for more information.
Time series chart
A new widget has been added to the Results page.
Use the Time Series chart to observe the risk score and dollar value of evaluated transactions over time. Hover over a bar or line to further investigate by summing the value of transactions over a given risk threshold for a given month.
